Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO) is and would be a rubber stamp for Congressional leaders, said Ken Buck, Weld County’s district attorney and a candidate for the Colorado GOP’s nomination for the U.S. Senate, during a one-hour interview at a local McDonald’s this morning.  “He is willing to rubber stamp his leaders’ positions rather than show bold leadership for Colorado,” Buck said.  Buck’s other key points made in the interview, which follows (click on hed), included:

Here are my notes from the North Suburban Republican Forum for the party’s gubernatorial candidates, Josh Penry and Dan Maes. Scott McInnis was effectively represented by John Zakem. Today’s newspapers are reporting on Scott McInnis’ new stump speech, which he delivered yesterday in Denver, Edwards and Glenwood Springs.  And newspapers in Idaho Springs and Vail will soon publish interviews with the candidate for the GOP’s nomination for governor.  But one reason I’m following the McInnis campaign this week is to hear the questions voters are asking him. These are mostly political junkies like me, and supporters (I won’t endorse until after the primary, if ever) who have very specific questions that are bugging them.  At the Main Street Grill in Edwards, CO, 31 people turned out.
