Ken Buck 50%, Michael Bennet 45% or Bennet 46% to 45%?

Ken Buck leads appointed Obama Democrat Sen. Michael Bennet 50% to 45%, but Bennet has narrowed Buck's lead from a week ago when Buck led 51% to 43%, according to Rasmussen Reports. Another new poll by Public Policy Polling shows Bennet leading Buck 46% to 45%.

John Hickenlooper 43%, Tom Tancredo 35%, Dan Maes 16%

Tom Tancredo has soared to within eight percentage points of John Hickenlooper in a little over two weeks, according to Rasmussen Reports. And over the weekend, Tancredo told audiences that he'd heard that a Denver Post poll, which still hasn't been published, puts him within six points of Hickenlooper.

Extremists’ ballot issues 60, 61, 101, 62 being crushed; Colorado rejects extremist Obama Democrats

A new Denver Post/ 9News poll shows that voters are rejecting the extremism of Obama Democrats and of the backers of ballot issues 60, 61, 101 and 62 (the personhood, or the anti-abortion, anti-contraception amendment). People understand Obama and don't like what they see. He scares most people, and they will vote in November to reduce his power to change America into another failed European country.

Independents breaking for Ken Buck; he leads Michael Bennet 48% to 43% in tight race

Ken Buck is leading appointed Obama Democrat Sen. Michael Bennet (D-Washington, DC), 48% to 43%. While Republicans and Democrats are supporting their candidates strongly, independents are breaking for Buck by a 5 to 3 margin, a new Denver Post/ 9News poll shows. While the race still is a toss up because Bennet and Buck will blast each other in commercials during the next four weeks, Buck's lead is important because, historically, in Senate contests, leaders at this late stage of a campaign usually prevail. Bennet will attack Buck for his stands against abortion. Buck will attack Bennet's record as a rubber stamp for President Obama's health, failed stimulus spending, radical climate change and job killing energy and labor bills and policies. Fox News: John Hickenlooper 44%, Tom Tancredo 34%, Dan Maes 15% and sinking like a rock

A Fox News poll shows that, as expected, Tom Tancredo is eating into John Hickenlooper's lead while Dan Maes is sinking like a rock to irrelevance. The results: Hickenlooper 44%, Tancredo 34% and Maes 15%. Tancredo's campaign issued a statement which concluded:

WSJ/NBC poll: 32% blame Obama for recession; 20% say recession is over

Democrats are getting no cheer from the latest WSJ/NBC poll, which shows only 20% of Americans believe the Great Recession is over and that 32% blame President Obama's policies for the recession, up from 17% at the beginning of the year. The latest consumer confidence survey is also bad news for Democrats. LINKS: More Americans blame Obama for economy, by Mary Lu Carnevale. How Tom Tancredo can beat John Hickenlooper; 4 questions for Tancredo

CNN poll of likely voters: John Hickenlooper 47%, Tom Tancredo 29%, Dan Maes 21%

A poll of likely voters conducted for CNN shows that some 21% of likely voters will vote their straight party tickets regardless of whether a candidate is unethical and incompetent. Thus, Dan Maes, the Republican candidate who has been discredited in so many ways that most party leaders are not supporting him, is still backed by 21% of likely voters. These are the same folks who complain about corrupt politicians. Or maybe they're the 21% of likely voters who don't think Maes is ethically challenged or that he's incompetent. That's an even more discouraging picture of the Colorado electorate—they don't know right from wrong or incompetent from competent. One can only wonder whether folks who still support Maes are themselves ethically challenged or incompetent. The CNN poll conducted between Sept. 17 and 21 also shows that 47% of likely voters support Governor-elect John Hickenlooper and 29% support Tom Tancredo. Soon Hickenlooper and Tancredo will be flooding the airwaves with their ads, but it's hard to see how advertising will change the likely outcome in this election. LINK: CNN poll results.

Rasmussen: Ken Buck 49%, Michael Bennet 45%

Colorado voters think being appointed Obama Democrat Sen. Michael Bennet is worse than being a fiscally conservative Ken Buck. Or, I should say, being Ken Buck is better than being Michael Bennet. In the latest Rasmussen Reports poll, Buck leads Bennet 49% to 45%. The race is a toss up, according to Rasmussen. Impact graphs:

John Hicklenlooper 46%, Tom Tancredo 25%, Dan Maes 21% and sinking like a rock

The campaign for governor of Colorado has barely begun and already, John Hickenlooper and Tom Tancredo are surging in the polls while the ethically challenged Republican, Dan Maes, is sinking like a rock. It will get worse for Maes as Tancredo’s new ad that attacks Maes’ lack of integrity (see below) sinks in with voters.

Indeed, Republican Party leaders are worried that Dan Maes will get less than 10% of the vote and relegate the GOP to minor party status under the state’s laws. In the latest Rasmussen Reports Poll, Hick gains 10 percentage points to 46%, while Tancredo climbs to 25% from 14% and Maes sinks to 21% from 24% two weeks ago. Since July 13 when I called on Maes to drop out of the gubernatorial contest, I’ve been predicting that he would get 5% to 10% of the vote in a three-way race. Given the support Maes is getting from Dan Maes Republican hacks and groupies, I think he could get 10% to 15% of the votes now. As shown below, Tancredo’s new ad, which calls Maes a con man and emphasizes Tancredo’s integrity gives voters good reasons to not support Maes. That means Governor-elect Hickenlooper still is the big favorite in the race for Colorado governor. LINK: Election 2010: Colorado Governor, by Rasmussen Reports.
