Air passenger who refused TSA molestation will be persecuted; where are Colo. Senators, Congressmen?
John Tyner, the passenger who refused to let TSA agents sexually molest him, will be investigated and may be fined $11,000 for refusing to complete the pat down process at the San Diego Airport. Where are Colorado's Senators Mark Udall and Michael Bennet on this case? Where are Congressmen Doug Lamborn, Mike Coffman, Diana DeGette, Jared Polis and Ed Perlmutter? So far, none of them have posted any comments about the TSA's abuse of passengers on their web pages.
Will they move to stop the TSA's invasion of fliers' privacy and the destruction of Colorado's tourism industry? Unless the TSA is put in its place, air travel will shrink dramatically, and that will hurt Colorado tourism.
Meanwhile, Americans are being urged to not fly on "Opt out" day, Nov. 24. A message needs to be sent to Congress, which is responsible for this mess, and the best way to send that message is to not only call and write your congressman, but refuse to fly until the laws are changed.
Chuck DeVore writes:
Rather than countenance a federal invasion of privacy of American air travelers, why not issue the following ultimatum to terror tolerating nations?
- If you fund terror we will put a tariff on your oil or other products – call it, the “Terror Tariff” – and we’ll invest the money raised in Predator drones and missiles, special forces, and alternative energy research.
- If you allow terrorists to train on your soil and we will kill them and maybe your leadership too.
- And, if we topple your terrorist-loving government, we won’t spend a dime to occupy your nation and rebuild it – you get to do that.
- If you leave us alone, we’ll return the favor. But, if you, or your terrorist proxies attack us, you may not live to see the morning.
Bottom line: we Americans get to keep our liberty and the bad guys get to lose their lives, which, when you think about it, is doubly satisfying in an especially American kind of way.

Where the hell do you think they are. They are statist scum supporters of the quasi-monarchic Obama and his minion, Janet Napolitano. And lets not forget these people are unionized.
That’s the reason the state cops union endorsed Bennet over a solid DA like Buck. The police state. It’s not just for conservatives any more.Posted by Laura Victoria on 11/16/2010 at 12:31 PM
DeVore’s points are spot on. We’re playing defense when we should be playing offense. It’s like telling women to wear chastity belts to avoid becoming rape victims.Posted by Laura Victoria on 11/16/2010 at 12:34 PM
If not stopped, Airports are just the beginning of Citizens being X-rayed / Stripped Naked by Government, having their Private Body Parts Touched, Squeezed and Patted-Down by Government Employees. It is problematic Americans (next) will be X-Ray Scanned and Physically Molested boarding trains, cruse ships, buses; when entering sports events and office buildings. Continued Low Radiation Exposure is Accumulative and believed to cause Cancer.
Americans should boycott airlines; that would get TSA’s attention and stockholders of airlines. Meanwhile Not just pilots and flight attendants, “ordinary air passengers” should also be afforded privacy, when felt up, searched at public airports.
Talk about government in your face. Recently the Obama government purchased hundreds’ of X-Ray Vans that will travel our streets without warrants, x-raying Americans, seeing Citizens naked when walking, standing, riding their bike. Government/police will use the x-ray vans to peer though Citizens’ homes and vehicles, exposing Americans and their families to radiation. X-ray vans are an affront to privacy, allowing government to view Citizens in their bedrooms. Americans need to ask Obama if independent studies were conducted to determine if Citizens could develop Cancer, if (repeatedly exposed) to police X-rays. It is easy to imagine government/police with or without a warrant every night X-raying a person of interest in his or her home. It is foreseeable some Citizens might install similar to smoke detectors, sensors that will set off an alarm, if their home or vehicle is being bombarded with X-rays.
Obama’s X-Ray Vans can ALSO be used by the military or police to secure perimeters to control civil unrest and instances of revolt, to screen and stop Citizens carrying guns, cameras; any item. Does Obama expect Americans to revolt?
I completely agree. As long as were are dependent on luxuries such as airfare, we give terrorist and our government avenues to infringe on our privacy or target us for violence. Lets show everyone that we are not their mindless victims. If they will take away our right to privacy in order to enjoy such luxuries we can just as easily not use it. This is the beginning of very dangerous turf.Posted by Philadelphia Car Accident Lawyer on 11/22/2010 at 05:33 PM
