Dick Wadhams: Tom Tancredo can win, Dan Maes won’t get 10% of votes
It's been clear for a long time that Dick Wadhams, the chairman of the Colorado Republican Party, thinks the GOP's gubernatorial candidate, Dan Maes, is a "joke" and that Republicans should vote for Tom Tancredo. Now he's saying he thinks Maes will get less than 10% of the votes and Tancredo can win. He obviously hopes Tancredo will win, but his job requires that he officially back Maes even though he's unfit to be governor.
