Doug Lamborn comments on latest jobs report

U.S. Rep. Doug Lamborn (CO-CD 5) issued a statement on the latest jobs report, which shows unemployment is still at 9.65:

 

October marks the 18th straight month that unemployment has been at or above 9.4 percent—the longest period of time of sustained high unemployment since the Great Depression.  

“For 18 long months Americans have been asking ‘Where are the jobs?’ Unfortunately, President Obama and Congressional Democrats ignored those concerns and embarked on a radical social experiment called ObamaCare, and racked up trillion dollar deficits.

“Now that Republicans have regained the Majority in the House, we must begin the hard work of eliminating those deficits and creating jobs by cutting spending and growing the economy with policies that support our small businesses. I look forward to passing legislation aimed at fixing our economy and getting America’s families back to work.”
