Club for Growth: Doug Lamborn 2nd most conservative, Mike Coffman 39th

Club for Growth’s members rank members of Congress in terms of how conservative their voting records are by voting them up or down. Some members, mostly conservatives, receive numerous votes while others, mostly liberals receive none. Whether the votes mean anything depends on whether you’re a member of the club, a conservative or a liberal, I guess.

Doug Lamborn (CO-R, CD-5) ranks second most conservative with an 99% approval rating from 116 voters.

Mike Coffman (CO-R, CD-6), in his first year, ranks 39th most conservative out of 435 members of the U.S. House of Representatives with an 87.5% approval rating from 18 voters.

John Salazar (CO-D, CD-3), ranks 

242 with a 7.34% conservative approval rating from eight 109 voters. Diana DeGette (CO-D, CD 1), ranks 322 with a zero rating from 107 voters. Jared Polis, ranks 398 with a zero rating from four voters. Besty Markey (CO-D, CD 4), ranks 374 with a zero rating from 10 voters. Ed Perlmutter (CO-D, CD 7), ranks 394 with a zero rating from 113 voters.

Appointed Senator Michael Bennet (CO-D), is ranked 66th most conservative in the 100-member Senate with a 5.26% approval rating from 19 voters. Senator Mark Udall (CO-D) is ranked 99th most conservative, or 2nd most liberal in the Senate, with a zero approval rating from 34 voters. Udall’s cousin, Senator Tom Udall (D-NM), is the most liberal member of the Senate, according to this tally.
