Is Betsy Markey toast? Democrats ready to triage her into oblivion?

Colorado Republicans may despise the liberal media in general and especially The New York Times, which often serves as the PR sheet for the Democratic Party. But they have to love the paper’s report that Democrats may decide that first-term Obama Democrat Betsy Markey (CD-4) has no chance of beating state Rep. Cory Gardner in November. Democrats are likely to stop spending money on her futile bid for re-election in a strongly conservative district. She won her seat by about 20 percentage points in 2008 when she rode President Obama’s coat tails to victory. This year, being an ObamaCare, Obama tax and spend and Obama cap and trade Democrat like Markey is a ticket to early retirement from Congress. Gotta hate the liberal media.
