John Hickenlooper has 5.4 times as much cash as Tom Tancredo
With about two weeks to go to the Nov. 2 election, John Hickenlooper had 5.4 times as much cash on hand as Tom Tancredo while Dan Maes was as broke as he's been all during the campaign, according to their Oct. 18 reports to the Colorado Secretary of State.
Tancredo, the American Constitution Party candidate, reported that between Sept. 30 and Oct. 13, he raised $219,583 and spent $276,012. On Oct. 13, he had $63,699 in cash on hand plus advertising time and space purchased but not used. Since he entered the race on July 29, Tancredo has raised $681,756 in cash and $3,318 in non monetary contributions and he has spent $618,087, according the report his campaign has filed with the Secretary of State.
Hickenlooper, the Democratic Party candidate, reported that between Sept. 30 and Oct. 13, he raised $378,825 net of returns and spent $463,637. On Oct. 13, he had $347,303 in cash on hand plus advertising time and space purchased but not used. Since he entered the race in early 2009, Hickenlooper has raised $3,683,735 in cash and $29,802 in non monetary contributions and he has spent $3,336,433, according the report his campaign has filed with the Secretary of State.
Maes, the Republican Party candidate, reported that between Sept. 30 and Oct. 13, he raised $22,781 net of returns and spent $48,327. On Oct. 13, he had $8,493 in cash on hand plus advertising time and space purchased but not used. Since he entered the race last January, Maes has raised $303,705in cash and contributions and he has spent $301,026, according the report his campaign has filed with the Secretary of State.
