Koch brothers and Americans for Prosperity work to offset unions’ political clout

For decades, I’ve been frustrated because I didn’t think conservatives were doing enough to offset the campaign spending and activism of George Soros, the AFL-CIO, Service Employees International Union, United Auto Workers, Teamsters, United Steel Workers, International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, National Education Assn. and other huge unions.

In a long hit job planted with the New Yorker, the Democrats try to paint a negative picture of the activities by the Koch brothers and their organizations such as Americans for Prosperity. The Kochs have been working behind the scenes for almost 30 years to create a more balanced playing field in the political world.

That’s good news for conservatives who are fighting President Obama’s drive to restrict our liberties, kill jobs and dumb down all Americans’ health care and standard of living.

Jeff Crank of the Colorado chapter of Americans for Prosperity will speak at the Arapahoe County Republican Mens [and womens] Club Wednesday, 7 a.m., September 1, Cool River Cafe, Denver Tech Center.
