Sharon Angle trusted Terry Campbell to run her Senate campaign; how to pick the wrong guy

The Tea Party nominated Republican Sharon Angle to run against Senate Leader Harry Reid in Nevada. Instead of hiring a professional campaign manager and team to run her campaign in the general election, she stuck with her old friend, Terry Campbell. Like Angle and too many Tea Party candidates in 2010, Campbell proved to be out of his league and ran a dysfunctional campaign, reports Shira Toeplitz in Angle's campaign sank candidate..

  1. NEWS MEDIA DUPED BY SHARRON ANGLE INSIDER.

    I have read several articles about the Sharron Angle campaign stating that leaks from insiders reported the campaign was in disarray and the Las Vegas staffers didn’t know what they were doing.
    The Reid “get out the vote” was the best it has ever been According to the articles and Angle had no ground game or GOTV effort which the source blames for the loss. A closer look at the Las Vegas operation tells a different story;

    The Angle team had built an army of over 400 volunteers who worked endlessly to elect Sharron Angle. To see how their work paid off let’s look at the “get out the vote numbers” The Democrats mustered up 63% while the Republicans mustered up 71% which went to the polls in Nevada. The Republicans 71% turnout is actually a record for a mid-term election and shows a spectacular GOTV effort by the Las Vegas operation.

    Other articles reporting on why Angle lost blame bad ads, especially on illegal immigration and the campaigns quest to hide Angle from the media.

    The REAL SCOOP has not yet been told!
