Tom Tancredo: John Hickenlooper said all Coloradans are ‘backwards,’ recession ‘state of mind’
Tom Tancredo said during his rally in Loveland Saturday that Obama Democrat John Hickenlooper is helping him out a little bit by declaring during Friday's debate on CBS4 that not just rural Coloradans are "backward" when it comes to thinking about homosexuality. All Coloradans are, according to Hickenlooper. And, Tancredo noted with a sarcastic chuckle, Hickenlooper also has said that the recession is a "state of mind." A few hours later, in Littleton, Tancredo took a harder, more serious line and expressed disgust with what he called Hickenlooper's "arrogance" toward Coloradans. The first clip is from Loveland. The second clip is from Tancredo's fourth and final appearance Saturday evening. During the day, he appeared in Greenwood Village, Ft. Collins, Loveland and Littleton. If you have only time for one clip, watch the second one. I don't know about Tancredo, but I was tired when I got home. He'll be in Colorado Springs and Pueblo Sunday afternoon.
