Tom Tancredo warns Republicans must remember to split their ballots for him
Colorado gubernatorial candidate, Tom Tancredo, is running on the American Constitution Party ticket. He thinks that he can and needs to get more than 80% of Republicans to vote for him, and, if they do, he will beat John Hickenlooper Tuesday. Wha'ts important is that Republicans must remember to split their ballots and vote for him instead of voting the straight GOP party line. The problem is that he is hearing from voters who've forgotten to split their ballots. If they haven't mailed or turned in their ballots, he told supporters, they can take their ballots to their polling places on Tuesday and vote at the polling places. Or they can go to their county clerk and recorder and ask for replacement ballots. But if they've mailed or turned in their ballots, they can't fix their mistakes. That is why it is important for Tancredo supporters to make sure they cast their vote for him rather than for the Republican, Dan Maes, he told supporters in Greenwood Village, Ft. Collins and Loveland.
