Too much technology in health care?
Colorado’s former Democratic Party governor, Richard Lamm, who was known as gloom and doom Lamm while he was in office during the early 1980s, has published a book calling for government rationing of health care. In his interview with the Rocky Mountain News’ editorial page editor, Vincent Carroll, Lamm makes one false assumption: that any country has a health care “system.” No country has a health care system, but all countries have health care providers, one or more insurers and local and regional health care markets.
