Lang Sias, a former Democrat and a resident of CD-2, running for CD-7 GOP nomination

Lang Sias, a former Democrat and a resident of Colorado’s second Congressional District, announced that he is running for the GOP’s nomination to represent the seventh Congressional district, now represented by Ed Perlmutter, a Democrat. Sias reportedly has the backing of Senator John McCain, his former boss. And the tea leaves are hinting that Bob Beauprez, who represented CD-7 for a couple of terms, is considering or is planning to endorse Sias. Ryan Frazier is the leading candidate for the nomination.
