Tom Tancredo raised $199,405.05 in August, spent $58,376.92; $141,028.23 on hand Sept. 1

In his first full month as a candidate for governor of Colorado, Tom Tancredo raised $199,405.05, or almost four times the $50,201.16 raised by Republican Dan Maes and almost half of the $403,598 raised by Democrat John Hickenlooper. Tancredo spent $58,376.82 and had $141,028.23 on hand as of Sept. 1, according to his report to the Colorado Secretary of State. Tancredo has said that he needs about $250,000 to be competitive. He’ll easily top that and may double it. LINK: Tom Tancredo’s report to Colorado Secretary of State.
