Tom Tancredo tours Front Range

I'm going to follow Tom Tancredo as he tours the Front Range today and tomorrow. He toured the Western Slope  yesterday, Jessica Fender reports.

About 75 of Tom Tancredo's supporters came out to his Greenwood Village headquarters for his early morning rally and heard him quote the lede graphs in my post yesterday about a prominent pollster's prediction that Tancredo and John Suthers will win on Tuesday. The crowd cheered. I'll post a video clip of the event late this afternoon.

More than 60 supporters attended Tancredo's Ft. Collins rally and close to 150 attended his Loveland rally, including several GOP legislative candidates and Perry Buck, the wife of the Republican's U.S. Senate candidate, Ken Buck. Videos will be published after tonight's rally in Littleton.

About 100 folks showed up at 6 Saturday night for Tancredo's fourth and final event of the day. He must have worked a good 12 to 13 hours, and he's been doing that since July. Two or three days will be enough for me.

I'm going to cover Tancredo's events in Colorado Springs and Pueblo Sunday and some Denver area events Monday. This will let me get a feel for how campaigns are closed and what it's like to be a political reporter who hears a candidate say the same thing at every meeting. But Tancredo changes his script a bit at every event, which makes it more entertaining.

I've produced five clips from Saturday's four events. More are in the can, and I'll get some more on Sunday and Monday.

I'm hoping the clips will give readers a better feel for Tancredo and how he sees the issues. I wish I could do the same with other candidates, but my resources and time are limited, obviously.SATURDAY, OCTOBER 30:
